Description
- 1995 Hino FD Hawk 10 Pallet Rigid Curtainsider 6 tonner. Reg till late March.
- Extensive work done to make this a reliable one of a kind truck.
- Engine is the naturually aspirated 6ltr inline 6 @185hp and has a 6 speed gearbox.
- Engine does not leak a drop of oil and uses maybe a litre a month (just changed inc' filters), temp Never goes over 90 degrees, will do 120 on the fwy and gets 6km/ltr on local up on the weights and starts first time every time (new starter 6 months ago).
- Steer tyres are 99% and drives at about 85%, all cleanskins. Front brakes may need deglazing (squeal when cold and when running hot) but are at about 70% while the rear brakes have just been done. New clutch, slave cylinder and rear engine mounts done 9 months ago, new fabricated 5" twin exhaust system (can be made louder or quieter through the baffle, currently about 95db), 6" air intake and intake pipe, down to 5" into the barrel, modified exhaust brake (extremely effective).
- Just over 120 marker lights, both LED and globe and mixture of 12 and 24volt through 3 cab mounted 12volt inverters. Also runs a 12v Uniden UHF and new Pioneer 12v CD/stereo and very good Fusion 6x9 speakers, sounds very good. 6 month old Weiko fridge. All additional lighting is on 3 separate looms which are all double fused and sheathed in conduit.
- Interior colour is satin black and burgundy painted highlights and chrome studded custom padded vinyl rooflining. has a new custom cut high density foam mattress on a steel and timber base, modified and extended chrome gear shifter, extra engine temp and oil pressure gauges, Iveco drivers seat.
- Body is a 10.5 pallet curtainsider, overall good condition, does need some minor curtain repairs but nothing serious. Chequerplate steel floor, gates and collapsable centre roof supports. Also comes with 5 load binders and a large tool locker.
- Body measures inside; 6.2m long, 2.1m high and 2.4m wide.
- This truck is perfect for anyone wishing to get into the industry as it is fully equipped and ready to go, and i can also help in getting work on Melb' metro.
- Only reason i'm selling is i require a semi for new work.
- Should cost no more than $1200.00 at the outside to roadworthy.
