2 Units - NORDBERG 13' x 18'8" (4m x 5.7m) Rod/Ball Mills, each w/ 1,500 HP (1,119 kW) Westinghouse Synchronous Motor
Single compartment, wet, overflow discharge.
Mills are complete with automatic gear lubrication system.
Last used as a rod mill, however identical to a ball mill design.
Mills were new in 1970.
Previously used to grind coal to 100 mesh only for pumping in a slurry pipeline to a power plant.
