This vat has two separate jackets, one jacket for the bottom of the vat and one jacket for the sidewalls of the vat. Previous owner says that the bottom jacket leaks refrigerant gas and the sidewall jacket was still operational with refrigerant gas. Even though the bottom jacket leaks under high pressure refrigerant gas it will not leak with low pressure cooling or heating methods such as water cooling, even if it did leak a bit it would only be water and it would not leak into the tank itself. You could pump hot or cold water through the jackets and it won't leak as it is low pressure, the leak in the jacket only appears under high pressure.
