Description

7'2 D x 32' long. The indirect heat is produced by (four) 4 200kW heating elements which are powered by SCR solid-state controllers that operate at 480 V, 3-phase, and 60 Hz, and are rated to 300 amps. The SCR features full range modulation via 4-20 mA input. The heating elements can produce up to 2.73 MMBtu/hr (800 kW) of energy when operated at 240 amps. The electric heating elements are clean, quiet, and efficient as well as require less maintenance than burners. In addition, the heating elements do not produce flue gases as well as do not require permitting for combustion, blowers, pressure control, adjustment, or fuel storage which adds to the ease of use. The shell is insulated with 6" thick R grade (alumina-silica) Pyro-Bloc Y module fiber refractory, produced by Thermal Ceramics Inc. The modules are 12" wide x 12" long, have a density of 10 lb/ft3 and are rated to 2,400 F. The bottom of the shell is one complete piece while the top of the shell is constructed in (four) 4 removable sections which can facilitate cooling or other process needs. The shell contains (eight) 8 thermocouples, (one) 1 for modulating control and for limit control for each zone and comes with proper wiring for their operation. This chamber is suitable for a rotating shell 6 1/2" diameter, is capable of process heating temperatures from 500 F to 1600 F, and can be applied to many heating and curing applications. Listing Number: WW16003 Industrial information about our Electrically Heated Curing Chamber: Materials that can be processed: Heater and purchaser can determine material of contraction. Process: All high temperature process above 100 F. Industrial use: The Electrically Heated Curing Chamber is for precisely controlled high temperature thermal processes.
