Description
- The MIRA-1 is 2-unit foldable infrared heating system. Folding design allows the MIRA-1 to operate as a 39”x46” heater or as a 78"x23” heater (for joints). The unit has a handle with 8 caster wheels. With a weight of 214lbs the machine can be lifted by two men and easily maneuvered by hand over the asphalt repair site.
- The MIRA-1 asphalt heater heats up and softens the surface course of asphalt so that it can be re-worked and re-compacted. The system uses highly efficient infrared heaters which softens the asphalt to original mixing temperatures in 5 to 10 minutes, making repair of an asphalt surface quick and economical. Potholes, surface cracks, bad joints, bird baths, catch basins, and manholes can be economically repaired with minimal time expended and minor traffic re-routing, while leaving a seamless patch that does not require joint filling.
- The MIRA-1 Mini Heater operates on vapor propane. The MIRA-1 is very efficient and has the heater has a very low operating cost
