Description: This beautiful fully customized trophy winning show truck known as “BIG BAD JOHN” started out as a 1942 AutoCar purchased by Mr. Dale Blevins of Blevins Asphalt in December 1961. The truck was driven daily until it was parked in the late 70’s. Dale’s wife Faye of 52 years always wanted to restore the AutoCar as a gift for Dale, unfortunately Faye passed away in June of 2007 and to fulfill Faye’s wish’s Big Bad John was brought to Peterbilt of Joplin “Truck Rods” where the AutoCar under went a full make over. Wanting no corners cut Mr. Dale Blevins spared no expense to fully customize and trick BIG BAD JOHN out. Faye never got to see the truck completed but Dale knew she would approve of what they all did in her memory. Mr.Dale Blevins passed away May 25th 2014, and the family would like to sell Big John to someone who is a good caretaker and will appreciate the history and memories that are associated with such a special truck.
