The Toro 50D is used mainly underground for the transportation of ore and waste rock. It can transport a payload of 50 tonne. It is fitted with an ergonomic air conditioned cabin with ROPS and FOPS classification. The unit also has both manual and automatic fire suppression system fitted. It has a drive line retarder and torque convertor lock up and posi – stop braking system fitted as optional extras. These optional extras enhance the performance of the unit and increase component life. Machine was rebuilt by QME and SMC Ireland in 2003 and 2013 where all major components were replaced or overhauled. As part of the last overhaul this unit components were upgraded to 50D spec.
