Description

Weighing over ten tonnes, the Savannah Forestry Rake has four, 2.4m raking wheels and rakes a strip over four metres wide in one pass. These rakes are built heavy enough to rake fallen trees into large windrows, instead of using a conventional dozer-mounted front stickrake and can be very cost-effective on large projects. As a rule of thumb, a ten-tonne rake will push up about 8-9 tonnes of material across the lateral face of the rake into a continuous windrow before it starts to skid sideways.
