Description: 2006 Vermeer D24X40 Series 2 horizontal directional drill. 3,407 hours, larger Aplex waterpump, John Deere diesel engine, electronic joysticks, RATT ready (rock carving). We are putting this rig with 450 of Firestick drill pipe. As you can see from the pictures of the rig, the drill has been cared for and is in exceptional condition for a 2006 model. We have packaged up this 24X40 Series 2 with a Digitrak Eclipse locating package (Receiver / Remote / Sonde / Charger / 2-new batteries / hard case), 12 Cyclone Style reamer with new front connection and rear pulling eye, Used Drill Head setup (housing / bit / collar / starter rod), one Vermeer ST-750a - 750 gallon mud mixing system along with a newer style Vermeer MX-240 - 750 gallon mud mixing system - both mounted on the flatbed. The truck is a 99 Freightliner FLD120 with AC / Heat. 388,012 miles, Eaton Fuller transmission, air brakes. To haul the machine we have put it with a Belshe tra
