  • Available to Order!!! - 80 Ton, 200' Main boom max, 240' main + jib max New Terex Model HC 80, 80 Ton Hydraulic Lattice Boom Crawler Crane complete with standard options including:
  • Model HC80 Package Machine (80 U.S. Ton) (72.6 mT) with 47HI Tubular Chord Boom. Basic Machine, 150’ (45.7 m) of 47HI heavy-lift boom {40’ (12.2 m) basic boom + (1) 20’ (6.1 m), & (3) 30’ (9.1 m) boom center sections with pedants}, single sheave extension, 65-ton (59 mT) 3 sheave load block, 15-ton (13.6 mT) overhaul ball, and 800’ (152 m) 7/8-diameter wire rope on the main hoist drum and 600’ (182.8 m) 7/8-diameter wire rope on the auxiliary hoist drum.
  • MACHINERY UPPER: Two drums, one main and one auxiliary, orientated side-by-side. Each mounted on separate shafts with single stage planetary gear reduction, independently driven by a hydraulic motor through a planetary reducer. A spring set, hydraulically-released multi-disc holding brake is mounted inside the hoist motor and is operated through a counter-balance valve. An external ratchet is fitted for locking the drums. Each of the Main and Auxiliary hoisting drums are grooved for a specific size of wire rope. Drum rotation indicators are present. Independent swing powered by a hydraulic plunger motor coupled to a planetary reducer with spring-set, hydraulically released multiple-disc brake, mounted on the swing motor. Two-position pin-in-hole lock (manual). Boom hoist with grooved drums including 5/8” diameter wire rope. Drum is powered by hydraulic axial piston motor coupled through a planetary reducer equipped with a spring-set hydraulically released pawl that is automatically actuated when boom is stopped. Engine/machinery enclosures with large access doors. Power up/down and free-fall is standard for main drums.
  • MACHINERY LOWER: Independent hydraulic propel drive unit built into each side frame. 36” crawler shoes. Sealed lubricated track rollers. Retractable crawlers for transportation.
  • ENGINE: Cummins QSB6.7, Tier-3, 185-HP @ 2,200 RPM, 6-cylinder, water-cooled, fuel injected diesel with an intercooled, turbo-charger. The engine controls include one electronic twist grip hand throttle and one foot pedal throttle. There is a 60 gallon fuel reservoir, and heavy duty batteries [(2) 12 bolt, 136 Ah]
  • OPERATOR’S STATION: Completely isolated from the main machinery cab, the operators cab includes: totally enclosed full vision cab with safety glass windows on all sides, windshield wiper/washer, hydraulic controls, sliding side window, flip open top window with wiper/washer, tachometer, Load Moment Indicator (LMI), heat and air conditioning with circulation fan, and AM/FM radio. Deluxe operator seating.
  • CONTROLS: Hydraulic-over-hydraulic controls provide instant positive, and smooth response to the operator’s touch, with a 90 gallon capacity reservoir. Block-up limit control is standard for hoist and whiplines. Integrated Load Moment Indicator system (LMI) is standard for main boom and upper boom point.
  • BOOM: Includes 40’ basic length, 46HI boom consisting of 20’ Inner and 20’ Taper Tip outer boom section with extended axle for pile driving. Mechanical boom angle indicator, pendent rigging, and boom hoist wire rope. Boom back-stops and boom over-hoist prevention device. Anti-two block limit controls for main and auxiliary lines.
  • COUNTERWEIGHT: Standard upper counterweight, consisting of (1) inner section weighing 16,000 lbs, (1) center section weighing 21,000 lbs, and (1) outer section weighing 21,000 lbs; for a total upper weight of 58,100 lbs. Removable in three separate sections for transport using a hydraulic counterweight removal system.
