Two drums, one main and one auxiliary, orientated in-line; main drum in front, with auxiliary drum behind. Each mounted on separate shafts with single stage planetary gear reduction, independently driven by a hydraulic motor through a planetary reducer. A spring set, hydraulically-released, multi-disc holding brake is mounted inside the hoist motor and is operated through a counter-balance valve. An external ratchet is fitted for locking the drums. Drums are grooved, 1-1/8” (28.6 mm) diameter wire rope on the front drum and 1-1/8” (28.6 mm) diameter wire rope on the rear drum. Drum rotation indicators.
